WiscAI · Vol. III Madison, Wisconsin Established 2024
A.I. consulting · custom build · executive practice

We build A.I.
that works.

WiscAI is a Madison-based AI consulting firm working alongside leadership teams to find where AI creates leverage — then building it. Live engagements across finance, insurance, manufacturing, and athletics. Clarity first, execution second.

The people closest to the problem can't get the solution built.

You're a marketing director who knows exactly what report you need. An ops lead who sees the bottleneck every day. A VP who's been asking for the same dashboard for eighteen months.

The technology exists now. AI tools have made custom development fast, affordable, and accessible. But most companies are still waiting in line for IT or overpaying consultants who've never shipped a product.

We're different. We're builders. We love problems. And we're based in Wisconsin — which means low overhead, not low quality.

  1. i. "IT says it's on the roadmap for Q3 of next year."
  2. ii. "The vendor demo looked great. Implementation took fourteen months."
  3. iii. "McKinsey wants $400K for a 'readiness assessment.'"
  4. iv. "By the time we bought the tool, there was a better one."

Two ways to engage

A practice, not a product catalog.

Currently engaged: three Track A advisory retainers, two Track B builds in flight.

Track 01 Workshop & Advisory

Your team learns to build it themselves.

A one-week diagnostic, a four-week pilot, then a monthly advisory cadence. We don't replace your team — we sharpen them.

Leadership teams that want AI fluency embedded in the org, not a vendor doing the thinking on their behalf.

Week 1 diagnostic. Weeks 2–5 pilot. Monthly working sessions thereafter. Your people own the code, the playbook, and the next move.

Engagement

Engagements begin at $5,000

Diagnostic only. No commitment to continue.

Track 02 Discovery → Build

We deliver AI as a working system.

Three weeks of scoping, then a fixed-price build sprint. You receive a shipped system — code, documentation, the keys.

Companies that need AI deployed against a specific workflow and want someone else to do the heavy lifting.

Three-week discovery surfaces the right problem and the right scope. Build runs four to twelve weeks depending on system complexity.

Engagement

$10K–$25K discovery · $25K–$150K+ build

Discovery is a standalone commitment. Build is sized to the surfaced scope.

About the firm

A builder's practice, run from Madison.

WiscAI's founder led AI initiatives at Lands' End, advised Fortune 500 leadership teams, and evaluated AI investments globally. We use the same tools and methods we deploy for clients to build our own AI products. When we tell you something works, it's because we're running it ourselves.

The firm operates a small portfolio of AI products in parallel with client engagements — LilSense (featured by Apple), SpokenPlan, HeldTo, RecoverEdge, RecruitEdge, and AI Doc Scanner. The shipping discipline that comes from running products is what we bring to client work.

A conversation, not a pitch

Ready to build something?

Start with a thirty-minute conversation. No pitch, no pressure. If we can help, we'll show you how. If we can't, we'll tell you that too.

P.S. No forms. No sales sequence. Just a conversation — usually within forty-eight hours.
